1. Local data only

JumpKey for YouTube stores settings and data in the browser's local storage only (via chrome.storage.local and related APIs). The extension does not send any user data or history details to an external web service, no backend server is used.

2. What data is stored

The extension may store and use:

• user preferences and configuration (shortcuts, source switches, theme)
• local watch history queue state (video IDs, titles, related tags for queue control)
• small support metadata required for internal behavior

3. No external data sharing

JumpKey for YouTube does not share, sell or transmit personal data to third-party services. It works entirely inside your browser on YouTube pages, and all saved preferences remain local to your profile.

4. Permission explanation

The extension requests the following permissions for features:

• storage - to persist configuration and queue state.
• tabs + content scripts on YouTube URLs - to detect video navigation and apply behavior when switching between videos.

5. Your control

You can:

• clear stored data via the extension options screen
• remove the extension at any time from browser extension settings
